What is a Value Proposition?

A Value Proposition will help you design products and services that users need and want. It is a visualization of key information about your Venture. There are two parts:

Value Propositions are part of a larger comprehensive tool called a Business Model Canvas. The Canvas can be used to describe all the components of a functional venture, but to build a viable enterprise, you must must start with clarity on who your customers are, how your products and services are valuable to them, and how you will continually ensure “fit” between the what customers want and the value your venture provides. The Value Proposition comes first; the full Business Model Canvas comes later.
